Hi, I’m Maryna — the designer behind Cozy Goose Studio. I create modern crochet patterns and DIY kits for the home, crafted to bring warmth, beauty, and calm into everyday life.

I never picked up a crochet hook until I was 36.

For years, I thought crochet was too complicated — something I would never be able to learn as an adult.

That changed the day I bought my first cotton cord rug. When it was unrolled in my home, it felt like more than just a rug. It felt like the beginning of a new story.

I learned to crochet during a difficult and uncertain time. With every stitch, I found calm. Crochet became my way to slow down, quiet my mind, and bring beauty into my home.

When my family and I moved to Poland, I carried this passion with me. But starting over in a new country also meant loneliness. To find connection, I began hosting small crochet meet-ups. What started as casual gatherings grew into workshops, and eventually into a studio in the heart of Warsaw, where I taught both beginners and experienced makers the art of interior crochet.

Working with so many people showed me something important: anyone can learn to crochet. I’ve seen children, busy mothers, and even people in their sixties create something beautiful with their own hands. All they needed was simple guidance and the joy of seeing results quickly.

That’s why I design patterns that are clear, beginner-friendly, and modern. Each one is created to be both calming and inspiring — proof that elegance truly lives in simplicity.
